I understand … WebIf it does not hold memory when you turn the unit off there is some reason the battery voltage is not getting to that RAM. It could be a bad battery, The battery could be installed backwards, The battery holder "if this version used a holder" could be bad. Or one of the traces on the board going to the battery could be bad.
