WebIt's possible that the ammo you're using is perfectly decent ammo, but is not made for semi-auto guns. With the hard-to-find 22lr issue, a lot of places are only able to stock the bolt-action-only subsonic stuff. In which case, it would chamber in your 10/22 just fine, but not have enough power to cycle your bolt. WebThe CCI Quiets 710FPS just dont provide enough blowback to cycle the action. For a 10/22, you usually need around 950-1000FPS Velocity on Average for the Action to properly cycle. The CCI subsonic will run but the quiet will not. I use Quiet 22 in 10/22 all the time… but i have the volquartsen firefly bolt.
